Barbara J. Burger Fellowship and Prize

It is awarded to a chemistry graduate student in at least their fourth year with interest in pursuing a career outside of academia. The fellowship covers a portion of the awardee’s stipend and tuition. The awardee also receives $3,500 which she can use to pay for research related expenses.

For AY 2024-2025, the Burger Fellowship was awarded to Kaitlin Luedecke of the Hadt Group.

James Ellis LuValle Award

Established in 2021 by the CCE Community Programs Committee, the James Ellis LuValle Award honors graduate students and postdoctoral scholars who have continually worked to bring ideas and programs focused on improving community in CCE.
