ChE GSC Carnival
On August 23, 2024 students gathered on the Beckman Mall for an evening of activities and games, hosted by the Chemical Engineering Graduate Studies Committee. Activities included tie-dyeing t-shirts, water gun fights, corn hole and more.
CCE Seminar Day
The 2024 CCE Seminar Day was held on Friday, October 4, 2024. This event provided an opportunity for graduate students and postdocs to present their work through short research talks throughout the day with a poster session in the evening. Seminar Day allows for students to enhance presentation skills and learn about the research occurring across the various sub-fields, supporting a division-wide sense of community.

2023 Constantin G. Economou Lecture
Maxim Zhelyabovskiy is the 2023 recipient of the Constantin G. Economou Memorial Prize. On October 10, 2024, he presented his talk titled “CO2 Utilisation via Tandem Electrochemical CO2 Reduction and Ethylene-CO Coupling”.
The Constantin G. Economou Memorial Prize is awarded to a chemical engineering graduate student distinguished by outstanding research accomplishments and exemplary attitude while fulfilling candidacy requirements for the Ph.D. degree.
