On April 18, 2024 in the Chen 100 Lecture Hall, the Caltech Library hosted its annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT).
Alexander Viloria Winnett (Ismagilov Group) came in second place with "The Viral Load Roller Coaster Shows Us How to Best Test for COVID-19".
The 3MT competition challenges Caltech graduate students to explain their research in an engaging and clear three-minute talk.
Merck Internships
This summer, multiple CCE grad students will be interning at Merck as 2024 Merck Chemistry Interns.
This 3-month program provides interns an opportunity to work on meaningful assignments and gain real world experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Adrian Samkian will be in Rahway, NJ, at Merck's main site, working with a scientist in process chemistry research.
In Boston, Jordan Thompson will be working on discovery-process research.
